Job Description:

The Operations Manager is responsible for facilitating the successful achievement of organizational goals through providing operations support and project management. This position work with the operations and training team, franchisees, and vendors to ensure consistent execution of brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leads operational projects for process and system improvements including maintaining operational SOP’s and manuals, recipe books/cards, order guides, cost of goods and standardized lists and seasonal training materials
  • Manages vendor relationships and supply chain including contract lifecycle, forecasting, pricing agreements and RFP’s. Meet regularly with vendors to discuss forecasting, tracking special orders and LTO launches. Respond to and manage immediate supply chain concerns.
  • Develop and manages operational functions of seasonal campaigns and LTO’s including testing products, finalize product list and dietary restrictions-kosher/vegan, recipe cards, ordering guides, vendor forecasting, and industry data/trends. Collaborate with IT to develop consistent POS/OLO procedures as well as partner with marketing team to develop goals and track data for campaign success
  • Oversee development and completion of operations testing calendar with culinary support professional
  • Assists culinary support professional with on-site testing/sampling and R&D as needed
  • Assists in Duck Donuts University and onsite visits/trainings
  • Attends industry trade shows

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of franchise experience
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Demonstrated abilities in relationship building, effective communication, and project management
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Results driven with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer skills, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Provides after hours and/or weekend or holiday support as business needs arise
  • Travel expected 25%+ based on business needs
  • Remote position, but prefer located within driving distance of Mechanicsburg, PA.
