About Us

Duck Donuts has had tremendous success and built a great following over the last 10 years on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with our “Warm, Delicious & Made-to-Order” concept. We are very thankful and excited to now be able to offer others the opportunity to take our Duck Donuts concept into other parts of the country.

Duck Donuts first opened in Duck and Kitty Hawk, NC on the Outer Banks. What started as a fun concept has now turned into a world known, award-winning brand with a product that gets everyone excited.

Our first franchise location was in Williamsburg, VA in 2013. We now have over 100 locations open with over 140 contracts to open.

To date, our growth has been organic. Our locations open in markets that ask for us.

Leadership Team:

Betsy – Betsy Hamm, MBA, is the CEO of Duck Donuts Holding. In her role, she is focused on building and protecting the franchise brand and providing best-in-class franchise support while driving company growth and profitability. Betsy is committed to providing strategic leadership and oversight of the corporate team, including operations, marketing and franchise development. She is responsible for strengthening company culture, ensuring operational efficiencies and maximizing franchisee success. Prior to being named chief operating officer, she served as the marketing director.

Prior to Duck Donuts, Betsy spent 15 years at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) in various marketing leadership roles. HE&R is a world-class entertainment and hospitality company that owns and operates many of the sweet attractions, resorts, and entertainment venues across Hershey, Pennsylvania including Hersheypark.

Betsy serves on the Board of Directors for The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region and Harrisburg Capital Region Economic Corporation. She is also an active member of the Women Presidents’ Organization Harrisburg Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
